New international flights to Ruka-Kuusamo

Latvian airline airBaltic will open new direct scheduled routes to Ruka-Kuusamo for the 2026–2027 winter season and station one aircraft at Kuusamo Airport during the busiest winter months. From December 2026 to March 2027, Kuusamo Airport will offer direct flights to the United Kingdom (London and Manchester), Germany (Berlin and Hamburg) and Latvia (Riga).

New Hotel Noelle in Rovaniemi

Santa’s Hotel Noelle will open in the heart of Rovaniemi in February 2027. The hotel will bring 101 new rooms to the city and introduce a new kind of hotel cluster, where Santa’s Hotel Noelle and Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus operate seamlessly side by side. The hotels will be connected by a covered overpass across Korkalonkatu Street. The hotel will have seven floors, with Junior Suites featuring balconies on the top floor.

Completely renewed hotel in Vaasa

Original Sokos Hotel Royal Vaasa has completed its renovation. The new extension adds 121 brand-new rooms, and this centrally located coastal city hotel now offers a total of 260 rooms and 665 beds. On the rooftop, the Huippu – Panoramic Sauna & Pool area offers a relaxing atmosphere with great views over Vaasa. The largest meeting room accommodates up to 110 people, and in total the hotel offers nine inspiring meeting rooms.
